New to Visual Studio 2010 is the Extension Manager (accessible via the Tools –> Extension Manager menu item).  This allows you to access the Visual Studio Gallery directly from with Visual Studio, where you can search and download extensions to Visual Studio that will help you work more productively. 

The Extension Manager is just one of the many ways that Microsoft is opening up Visual Studio 2010 as a platform, not just a best of breed IDE for developers.
